Admunki’s Top Bananas 2015
As I’ve been running my catablogs Admunki and Techmunki for a little over a year now, I thought I’d do one of those end-of-year round–ups.
They are all ideas that have passed through my feeds during 2015 and are examples of lovely thinking that all elicited the same reaction with me – ‘I wish I’d thought of that’.
They come in three categories – those that are emotive or charity based, those that develop and improve experiences and those that just sell stuff.
I’ll start with the emotive stuff – some would argue it’s easier, but I think it’s harder to create something exceptional.
Here are some ideas that aim to enhance and improve our life or experiences in one way or another.
Lastly here are some ideas that just go about the everyday task about selling stuff to us.
Like encouraging us to visit a sale
Or an art exhibition
Or even a country
Looking for a religion… no wait a stunt production company?
Or you need to buy a car… or a film or both?
With insurance?
Or just hire a van
Or just a torch?
A neat set of earphones?
Or a laptop
With a clever printer
Do I hear you coughing?
Or are you hungry?
And need reminding about it?
Okay proper food then?
With a beer?
Followed by some gum, which is exactly what they did with this promotion.
Perhaps all you want to do is clean?
Or smell nice
Make up?
Or do you need a powerful screwdriver?
Sex… no perfume, Clothes? Okay sex then.
Biros or razors?
A comfortable pair of pants?
Toys?
Or just stuff for Christmas?
If you’ve made it this far I’d like to finish off with two ideas about bees. The first tells people how nature gives to us.
The second is a clever idea developed by a zoologist to help African farmers protect their crops from elephants. They avoid bees because they sting inside their trunks, so the farmer protects his crops, creates a habitat for pollinators and gets honey at the end of it.
